Founded by Joseph Rey III, Rey Manufacturing has been in business for over 25 years building the finest quality doors made.   We strive to help our clients build homes of distinction. 

Our original designs were great for their time, but since our beginning, they would now be considered standard because of the progress we’ve made in designs and artisan crafting techniques.

In 1985 two different men from Rancho Santa Fe, CA approached us with photographs of some very elaborate doors that they had seen in Beverly Hills. The photos were rather vague but we felt that we could do it. What we produced turned out to be so much better than the originals and, at that point, we knew we were onto something great.

Since 1983 we’ve designed and manufactured doors for billionaires, movie moguls, sports heroes, and fantastic people who feel that style and quality were more important that budgets.

All of our products are handcrafted with authentic old-world techniques, mortise and tendon joinery, hand forged iron, custom beveled, leaded glass and hand carved wood. We have the finest artisans in the world; wood carvers, iron smiths, glass artists and carpenters whose fathers and grandfathers taught them their trades.
